Zhijiang National Tourist Resort is one of 12 national tourist resorts approved by State Council. The Resort is close to Qiantang River in the south and Wuyun Hill in the north. Total area is 9.88 km2. Bamboos and trees form the peace and the elegance of the Resort. Watching from the top of the hill, you may see the beauty of West Lake and the splendor of Qiantang River. Following the river, you can see the special Qiantang Wave. Going against the river, you may see the view of “two-river and onelake”. It is the best joint part of West Lake and “two-river and onelake” scenery areas. Presently, Song Dynasty Town, World of Future and West Lake Golf Court have been constructed and open to the public.

●Song Dynasty Town

Song Dynast y Town Tourist Scenery Area relies on Wuyun Hill in the north and close to Qiantang River in the south. The land area is 300 mu. It is the largest Song Culture Theme Park and the first theme park in Hangzhou to show the culture of two Song dynasties. The construction of the scenic area follows up the painting “At River on Clear & Bright” of the excellent painter Zhang Zeduan of Song Dynasty. It reproduces the splendid view of Song Dynasty by the construction way of Song Dynasty. It creates a space with taste, melody, rhythm and history.

Song Dynasty Town Thousand- Year Feeling is a classic heroic living theatre invested a lot by Song Dynasty Town. Basing on Wu Yue culture of thousand years, combining the world culture styles, using the form of most wonderful Las Vegas show and Moulin Rouge, the traditional culture is packaged. ●World of Future Amusement Park

This is an AAAA scenery area and so far the largest outdoor complex new generation theme park in Asia. The land area is 320,000 m2. The Park consists of six blocks, i.e. “Happy Land”, “Romantic Competition”, “Splendid Ceremony ”,“ Flowe r S had ow Causeway ”, “Colorful Plaza” and “ Dream Center ”. Among which, Dream Center is a large indoor amusement place with a construction area of 18,000 m2 . It is the cream of whole “World of
Future”.
This year, the Park is packaged newly. The night tour project “World Leisure Without Night City” is presented. Among which, the most outstanding night tour activities are large science fiction performance “Dreamy Future” and water amusement activity “World of Huahua”.

Xi'xi National Wetland Park

●Xixi National Wetland park is located in the west of the city, with a distance to West Lake of 5 km only. The land area is about 10 km2. The opened first stage occupies about 3.2 km2. Presently, this is the only and the first national wetland park that integrates city wetland, farming wetland and culture wetland.

●About 70% of the Park is water area such as rivers, harbors, pools, lakes and wetlands. It has rather unique water plants, land plants and wild animals. Bulrushes, water chestnuts, duckweeds and lotuses are growing in the water. On the banks, there are plums, persimmons, camphor trees and bamboos. In the streams, there are carps, grass fish, shrimps and yellow eels. In the sky, there are rare birds such as aigrets, green birds, mallard ducks and silver chickens. You can see here unique wetland zoological view.

●From ancient times, Xixi is a good reclusion place. Su Dongpo, Mi Fu, Tang Bohu, Feng Mengzhen, Hong Sheng, Li E, Yu Dafu and Xu Zhimo had left us many poems, paintings and articles. Emperor Song Gao Zong, Kang Xi and Qian Long had visit Xixi and left poems. Shi Nai’an wrote the wellknown work the Legend of Shuihu using Xixi as the background.

●The exhibition houses of aborigines’ life, such as “Xixi Family” and “the Story of Mulberry, Silkworm, Silk and Fiber”, recur the family life and labor scenery of Xixi aborigines. It can make more people know and understand the unique folk custom of Xixi.

●Autumn Snow Hut Built in the beginning year of Song Dynasty, Chunxi Period, was located on a lonely island, to its southeast there is a boundless reed beach, a vast misty whiteness. Chen Jiru, a calligrapher of Ming Dynasty, thought out a name from the scene “Fishing boat rowing veiled by autumn snow curtain”, from then on it was named as “Autumn Snow Hut”.

●Xi’xi Water Pavilion They are buildings for literators, an ideal place for their concealing themselves to study hard and store books.

●Plum& Bamboo Village Built by Zhang Cibai, a literator of Qing Dynasty. Three main buildings of this villa now are “Plum& Bamboo Cottage”, “Sunshine Hall” and “Empty Pavilion”. The villa is covered with trees.

●Xi’xi Plum Villa Originally it is a small village for plum peasants’ living, with the neighboring Plum & Bamboo Villa, Xi’xi Grass Hut, and Xi’xi Water Hall, it dedicates itself to consist the main content of Xi’xi Plum & Bamboo Leisure District. This place is quiet and free, a very place for you to experience leisure life of peasants’ life.

●Xi’xi Grass Hut The owner of this hut was Feng Mengzhen, a literator of Ming Dynasty.This hut is characterized with peaceful and quiet environment and rich scenes. Fences surround it. Green bamboos cover white mud wall. ancient well, grape arbors, stone chairs…make up a simple and quiet picture of peasants’ living.

●Hut means grass hall. It was a villa of Zhou Xiaozhi of late Ming Dynasty. Surrounding Bulrushes make it full of wild interests. The whole villa looks like a fairy island on the water. It was named as Bo Hut. This is a group of buildings for literators. Externally, it is pure and natural. Internally, it is fresh and elegant. It is a good place for reading books, tasting tea and viewing sceneries.
